CHN Speech Therapy
Comprehensive Health Network (CHN) speech therapists evaluate and treat a variety of impairments – speaking/word formation, swallowing, eating, cognition/thinking as well as communication.
Cognition has grown to be a major focus in home care. We work with you to improve your attention, memory, problem solving ability, and decision-making skills.
Conditions that may benefit from speech therapy include:
- Stroke
- Alzheimer’s/Dementia
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Parkinson’s
- Cancer of the Head, Neck or Throat
Electrical Stimulation Therapy
Patients with swallowing difficulties have shown positive outcomes from the use of our electrical-stimulation program. It is simple to administer and pain-free. Our speech therapists use this treatment modality along with an exercise program to accelerate strengthening, restore function, and help the brain remap the swallowing reflex.
“The ability to communicate is essential to independent living.”
